Face Lift

Facelift is a surgical procedure performed to eliminate sagging skin on the face and neck, as well as under the chin. The scars that will form due to the stretching of the skin around the ear will also be unnoticeable because it will be on the junction line of the ear and face, and even under the earlobe.

Will my general facial expression change after the facelift operation?

Because each person has a specific anatomical state, the surgeon should consider this and start the facelift surgery accordingly. The operation should be performed by a surgeon who knows the anatomy of aging. In addition, if facelift surgery is performed by considering the facial expressions and the facial anatomic structure, no change will be seen in the general facial expression.

How long does it take to recover after facelift surgery?

After surgery, the healing of incisions on the face takes 7 to 10 days. The healing of post-operative edemas takes about 2 to 3 weeks; however, edemas are among the problems that go away in a short time. After facelift surgery, patients can return to work after 2 to 3 weeks. Face lift operation can be done alone, or in conjunction with other surgical procedures such as forehead lift, blepharoplasty, or rhinoplasty. In an operation performed in this way, it should be known that other procedures have their own healing times.
